Changes and cancellations may be made depending on the specific conditions of each ticket/rate. Rate conditions

Date changes

  • Changes may be made up to 2 hours before departure for tickets which admit changes.
  • The cost of making the change will depend on how far in advance it is made; the first change is free of charge if made at least 48 hours in advance.

  • The change surcharge varies depending on the baseline rate, i.e. taking no promotions or discounts into account.
  • Alsa Plus customers may make changes free of charge up to 2 hours before their scheduled departure time, for tickets which admit changes.
  • No surcharge is applied for changes to tickets for international routes.
  • No changes may be made to regional tickets for routes in Asturias and Cantabria.

Name changes

  • On national routes, the name and ID details of the ticket holder may be changed up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • The name of the ticket holder may not be changed on international routes. To change any detail, holders are required to cancel their ticket and acquire a new one.
  • The name of the ticket holder may not be changed on tickets with promotions or special rates associated with a specific passenger (Large Family, Disability, Alsa Plus, Birthday, Defence Forces, etc.)

Cancellation

Cancellations may be made up to 2 hours before departure for tickets which admit them.

The cost of making the cancellation will depend on how far in advance it is made; cancellation is free if no changes have been made beforehand and when made at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Alsa Plus customers may cancel their tickets free of charge up to 2 hours before their scheduled departure time, for tickets which admit cancellation.
  • Tickets purchased via www.alsa.com, the App or 902 42 22 42 may be cancelled via the same sales channel or at any Alsa point of sale. Tickets bought or changed via points of sale and self-service machines may only be cancelled at Alsa points of sale.
  • No changes may be made to regional tickets for routes in Asturias and Cantabria.
