Minutes of the Jury Meeting for the XV "TALES ON WHEELS" Competition

Following deliberations and subsequent voting, the jury has reached a verdict.

In Madrid, at 2:30 PM on June 23, 2015, the jury for the XV edition of the literary contest "Tales on Wheels" is constituted, convened by ALSA in order to promote literary creation related to the field of travel, and whose bases are deposited before a Notary.

The jury is formed by the following members: Mr. Víctor García de la Concha, director of the Cervantes Institute, acting as president; Mr. Álvaro Ruiz de la Peña, Ms. Clara Sánchez, Mr. Luis Ignacio Parada, Mr. Diego Carcedo and Mr. Carlos Maribona, with Mr. Pablo Gómara acting as secretary.

After proceeding with the deliberations and subsequent votes, the jury agrees to issue the following verdict:

? Tales on Wheels 2015 Award: Mr. Miguel Ángel Hoyos Alarte,  from Olías del Rey (Toledo), for his story "The woman at the window".

The other stories selected by the jury to be published alongside the winner have been those presented by:

  • Mr. Ovidio Parades Álvarez, from Oviedo, for "Discovery".
  • Mr. José Luis Castro Lombilla, from Seville, for "Turkish Turtle Doves"
  • Ms. María Pilar Donate Sanz, from Marseille (France), for "The True Story of the Hancock Family".
  • Ms. Cristina Mendive, from Burlada (Navarra), for "I'm Not Going to Tell You".
