ALSA, CASHLOG, and MO2O introduce a significant innovation in e-commerce payment solutions.

This agreement represents a disruptive innovation in the e-commerce ecosystem, as ALSA is the first European private transportation company to add carrier billing to its payment methods.

Madrid, July 27, 2015.- ALSA, a leading passenger transport company by road in Spain, has signed an agreement with Cashlog to provide its customers with the opportunity to pay for their bus tickets charged to their mobile operator bill.

Cashlog, a company of the Japanese group NTT DOCOMO, recognized as a leader in innovation in the field of mobile payments (m-Payments) and, specifically, in direct carrier billing (payment services on the operator's bill), provides telecommunications operators (Telcos) with the most complete and consumer-focused mobile payment solution,

The agreement represents one of the most innovative initiatives in the e-Commerce and m-Commerce ecosystem, as the Cashlog payment method will be offered to customers who wish to purchase their tickets through the ALSA mobile channel, which demonstrates their confidence in their mobile marketing partner, MO2O, to improve the experience of its passengers.

Travelers who access ALSA's mobile sites to buy their tickets will have the opportunity, in addition to traditional payment methods, to "pay with their mobile" and can complete the purchase in a single click without providing any other personal or financial data. The mobile payment or m-Payment solution from Cashlog is available on the ALSA HTML5 website and in its native applications (iOs and Android).

ALSA has implemented this payment method by the operator among its various options because more and more of its customers are connecting to the web from a mobile device.

For Ignacio Herrero, General Commercial and Marketing Director of ALSA, “we are delighted to have reached this agreement with Cashlog and offer our customers the latest and most innovative payment systems, allowing them to acquire their tickets more conveniently and safely”.

Thanks to ALSA and its attitude towards innovation, travelers will be able to make their payments through their mobile and enjoy an experience that perfectly adapts to their behavior and needs”, explains Luis Dominguez, CEO of Cashlog.

This agreement has been made possible thanks to the integration of Cashlog with the leading telecommunications operators in the Spanish market. The Cashlog Enabler solution provides Telcos with a true M-Payment product as opposed to traditional gateways that offer mere APIs.

The innovative M-Payment Enabler from Cashlog offers, through its modules, an integrated set of capabilities aimed at each of the actors in the Telco's mobile payment ecosystem. For example, the Self-Management Portal, for those consumers who want to manage their mobile payments online and in real time by themselves. Another example would be the Customer Service Module, for use by Telco Agents who, through a simple interface, facilitate the real-time management of their customers' requests.

In addition, a single and simple integration between Cashlog and the operator allows managing the ecosystem in an integral way. To encourage growth and attract new and significant sources of income, Cashlog contributes the eMoney license of its group to the agreement.

Ibo Sanz, head of m-Commerce at Vodafone Spain, assures that “we are delighted to offer our customers the opportunity to obtain their Alsa tickets through their mobile and charged to their Vodafone bill. This avoids the inconvenience of having to use cash or a card”.
