ALSA and the Fundación Mujeres renew their agreement to support victims of gender-based violence.
The agreement was signed today in Madrid by the CEO of ALSA, Francisco Iglesias, and the director of the Women's Foundation, María Luisa Soleto.
ALSA's contribution is entirely allocated to the endowment of the Soledad Cazorla Scholarship Fund, the first prosecutor against Violence against Women who passed away in 2015. This fund aims to protect and support orphaned children as a result of gender violence crimes.
The scholarships are intended to try to repair, at least in part, the damage suffered by these children, through financial aid to facilitate access to university studies or educational and/or psychological support services that minors of school age may need.
The Women's Foundation is a non-profit organization that promotes projects with the aim of achieving effective and real equality between men and women within the social, political, economic and cultural spheres.
ALSA, for its part, inscribes this agreement within the corporate social responsibility actions it develops in favor of different social purposes and community support, such as the fight against gender violence.
