ALSA participates in the conference on the presence of women in transportation
Gijón, November 16, 2018. ALSA participated in the conference dedicated to the presence of women in the transportation sector, held at the Gijón Aquarium auditorium on November 16th. The event was organized by the Spanish Association of Urban and Regional Transport (ATUC). Verónica Marco, ALSA's Yield Director, was responsible for speaking on behalf of our company.
Under the slogan, "The presence of women in transport: a step forward," the conference featured the participation of ten women representatives from the world of transport in our country, who were able to give testimony and exchange their different experiences in the various conferences and round tables.
In her speech, Verónica Marco highlighted the "feeling of guilt" that sometimes arises when taking on certain work challenges as a woman.
The conference was inaugurated by the mayor of Gijón, Carmen Moyirón, and also included the participation of Inés Nazaret, Director of People at TITSA, Mar Gaya, founder of the Igualando consultancy, Pilar Vázquez, Managing Director of EMULSA, and Mar Martín, Head of the Training Area of EMT Madrid.
