ALSA wins the LUIKE Star award for best Human Resources initiative

Madrid, January 24, 2019. - Passenger transport company ALSA has been recognized with the award for the best Human Resources initiative for humanizing the work environment at the fifth edition of the LUIKE Motor Star Awards, whose gala was held yesterday in Madrid.

This award recognizes the work of humanization in work environments in the mobility and automotive services sector, and has been granted to ALSA for its "Master Driver" program, which aims to promote a process of continuous professional improvement in all drivers of the company.

When awarding this prize, the jury -formed by representatives of the LUIKE Group, the Fundación máshumano and the Capital Humano magazine- especially valued the broad scope and complexity of the "Master Driver" program, aimed at a group of almost 6,000 ALSA drivers, and its application to the professional development of people with such a decisive role in improving safety and traveler care, such as bus drivers.

MASTER DRIVER

The "Master Driver" program consists of a process of evaluation, training, communication, recognition and reward based on a system of classification of drivers in levels, according to multiple indicators. Its goal is to differentiate drivers who achieve excellence in their professional performance consistently. The assessment is made through objective data and the identification of competencies. At the same time, it favors a continuous improvement process that raises the standards of all driving personnel.

The Estrella LUIKE del Motor awards are organized by the LUIKE Iberoamericana de Revistas Group, publisher of the publications Autofácil, EVO Magazine, Fórmula Todo Terreno or Fórmula Moto. Throughout its five editions, they have established themselves as one of the most prestigious awards in the automotive and mobility sectors in our country. In its 24 categories, these awards recognize, in addition to the most successful models and brands each year, the best initiatives in the sector in the areas of Communication, Innovation, CSR and Patronage, Mobility solutions and Human Resources.
