Alsa renews its EFQM 500+ European Seal of Excellence

Madrid, January 27, 2020. - Mobility operator Alsa has renewed the EFQM 500+ European Seal of Excellence it obtained in 2018, with the highest level of recognition. This confirms that it is one of only 122 Spanish entities that currently hold the EFQM 500+ Seal, and one of a select group of 16 companies that exceed 550 assessment points.

ALSA's President, Jorge Cosmen, received the certificate from Ignacio Babé, Secretary General and CEO of the Club Excelencia en Gestión, and Rafael García Meiro, CEO of AENOR, during the FITUR 2020 International Tourism Fair.

The EFQM 500+ European Seal of Excellence distinguishes organizations that, like Alsa, follow a strategy oriented towards excellence and have achieved the set objectives, and is granted by the Club Excelencia en Gestión, after successfully passing an external evaluation carried out together with AENOR.

LEADERSHIP IN EXCELLENCE

Along with promoting continuous improvement and innovation as the essence of the EFQM Model, for Alsa, leadership in excellence implies the need to work oriented not only to the satisfaction of its customers, but also of the various stakeholders with whom the company interacts.

After the evaluation process carried out by AENOR, Alsa has improved its score compared to the previous evaluation, which demonstrates the firm commitment of the mobility operator to consolidate itself as a sustainable, ethical and responsible company in the development of its activities. This orientation towards sustainable development and the culture of excellence are strategic axes of its business management and its commitment to society.

Once recognized the enormous potential represented by the path of excellence and the EFQM Model, for ALSA the renewal of this seal represents a new stimulus to consolidate the work done so far and continue improving in the coming years.
