Alsa adds 1,500 extra seats for travel between Madrid and Asturias.

Madrid, April 18th. Passenger transport company ALSA announces that due to the upcoming May bank holiday, which will be extended until the 2nd in the Community of Madrid, it will increase its seat availability and the number of departures for travel between Madrid and Asturias.

Specifically, it has programmed 1,500 additional seats on services from Madrid to Oviedo and Gijón, representing 16 daily departures. During peak demand times, both on the bridge departure on the 27th and the return operation on the 2nd, the company will operate up to three departures every hour between 4:00 PM and 7:30 PM.

This means that ALSA will offer 60% more seats compared to a normal weekend, when the company operates an average of 10 departures between Madrid and Asturias.

Although seats are available, it is recommended to purchase tickets in advance through the website alsa.es and the company's mobile app.

With the launch of this special operation, ALSA hopes to respond to the increase in travelers that will occur between Madrid and Asturias during the upcoming May bank holiday, as the 2nd is a holiday in the Community of Madrid.
