Madrid, August 8th. Passenger transport company ALSA and the Railway Orphans Association have signed an educational collaboration agreement whereby students on their Vocational Training courses will undertake their professional training in Railway Material Maintenance at ALSA.

Officials from the Colegio de Huérfanos Ferroviarios and ALSA, during the signing of the agreement.

The CHF Association aims to promote training courses both in the professional and university postgraduate fields, and in this sense, it has traditionally developed training activities aimed at employment and facilitating the incorporation of CHF beneficiaries into the world of work.

Now, the CHF Association resumes its educational activity, teaching - starting next September - the Intermediate Level Training Cycle of Technician in Rolling Stock Maintenance, among others.

With the signing of this agreement, ALSA will collaborate for the next three courses with the Association in the development of the training program, facilitating its students to carry out the corresponding internships established in the Training Plan of this professional module in the company's facilities in Torrejón de Ardoz.

Since last summer, ALSA has successfully managed the Felipe II Tourist Train, which connects Madrid with San Lorenzo de El Escorial. This year, the company has approved its own Railway Training Center, and next September it will start the first course to train railway drivers.
