The agreement is part of the operational programs for Social Inclusion and the Social Economy (Poises) and Youth Employment (POEJ), which Fundación ONCE is developing through Inserta, with co-financing from the European Social Fund and the Youth Employment Initiative, to increase the training and employment of people with disabilities.

Alberto Durán assured that this agreement "gives us the opportunity to work with a company that is dedicated to the mobility of people and that is expanding, so it has the opportunity to create employment for people with disabilities. It also allows us to advance with them in accessible mobility solutions, both in coach transport and in intermodal systems and attention in stations to people with disabilities."

For his part, Francisco Iglesias explained that "the development of actions that improve the employability of people with disabilities is one of the priority lines of action defined in ALSA's Social Responsibility policy. For this reason, we are delighted to sign this agreement with Fundación ONCE and to join its Inserta Program, to promote the full social integration of people with disabilities through employment and training."

ALSA will have Inserta Empleo, an entity for training and employment of Fundación ONCE, to address the selection processes of candidates for jobs that the firm may need, as well as to develop possible training and professional qualification actions. The agreement also contemplates the promotion of other actions that favor the labor insertion of people with disabilities indirectly through collaboration with special employment centers.

This agreement entails ALSA's adhesion to the Foro Inserta Responsable, a platform for networking and social innovation that makes it possible to share practices, tools and experiences that favor the effective development of labor insertion policies for talent with disabilities.
