AVIANCA and ALSA Offer New Connection Options to Their Customers
Madrid, January 21, 2016- Within the framework of the Tourism Fair, Fitur, Avianca and ALSA
announced the launch of a collaboration agreement for intermodal transport, which
allows combining tickets from both companies in the same trip.
Thus, travelers arriving or departing from Madrid and/or Barcelona via Avianca will have the option to
connect through ALSA's bus services to more than 30 destinations in Spain.
Passengers will benefit from special conditions and guaranteed, simple
and comfortable connections, as both companies operate from the terminals of the Adolfo
Suárez Madrid-Barajas (T4) and Barcelona-El Prat (T1) airports.
Access to the Avianca-ALSA combined transport mode
Tickets can now be purchased at a special launch fare at the offices of
Avianca in Spain and through travel agencies, pending a more complete integration
that facilitates sales to all channels.
Avianca's operation in Spain
Currently, the airline operates 21 weekly direct flights from Madrid to
Bogotá, Cali and Medellín, in addition to a daily flight from Barcelona to Bogotá, with options for
connections to major destinations in Latin America such as Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro,
Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Lima, Guayaquil, Quito, Panama City, Mexico City
and San Salvador.
