Alsa's 18th "Tales on Wheels" competition is underway

The 18th edition of the short story contest "Tales on Wheels" is now underway. This contest is held annually by the passenger transport company ALSA to promote literary creation related to the world of travel and coach transportation.

The works submitted must be original and unpublished, and have a maximum length of 3,000 words. The complete rules of the contest are published on the company's website: (www.alsa.es/concursos/cuentos-sobre-ruedas) and the submission deadline is May 15th.

The winner of the contest, chosen by a jury chaired by Víctor García de la Concha and composed of prominent figures from the literary and cultural world, will receive a prize of 6,000 euros. In addition, the winner's story and the finalists' stories will be published in a non-commercial edition that will be distributed free of charge among the company's travelers.

The "Tales on Wheels" contest, which has already celebrated 17 editions, is one of the most established in the Spanish literary scene, is a demonstration of ALSA's commitment to culture, and aims to contribute to promoting the habit of reading among travelers, so we invite all those passionate about writing to participate in this contest.
