Buses and routes from
the A Coruña Station

Public transport connections

The A Coruña Bus Station is the main road connection point for the "Herculine" city. Located in the Cuatro Caminos area, it offers excellent connectivity with the city center, the metropolitan area, and the railway network, establishing itself as a key node for mobility in Galicia.

Urban bus and proximity

A Coruña Buses (Compañía de Tranvías)

The station is perfectly integrated into the local transport network, with immediate stops connecting to the city's nerve centers:

  • Lines 1, 1A, 4, 12, and 14: Offer a direct connection to the center (Obelisco), the beach area (Riazor/Orzán), and the main peripheral neighborhoods.
  • Line 24: Ideal for traveling to the university area and the Coliseum/Espacio Coruña surroundings.

Railway Connection:

The bus station is located only a 10-12 minute walk (or 5 minutes by bus/taxi) from the A Coruña-San Cristóbal Train Station, allowing for a simple transfer to High-Speed services (AVE) and Medium Distance/Commuter trains.

Recommended App: We advise using the iTranvías app to check urban bus arrival times in real-time or the Millenium Próxima official website for managing transport passes.

Connection to the airport

Getting to A Coruña Airport (LCG - Alvedro) from the station is very convenient thanks to the regular transport service:

  • Intercity Bus (Line A4): Connects the station directly to the airport. The service operates with a frequency of approximately 30 minutes and the journey takes about 20-25 minutes.
  • Taxi: The station has a permanent official rank outside. The trip to the airport is fast (about 15 minutes) and has a fixed rate or metered price depending on supplements.

Car rental

Given its central location, users have easy access to various vehicle rental options for traveling through the Rías Altas.

Available companies

  • Station surroundings: Agencies such as Europcar, Enterprise, and Avis have offices in the vicinity of the bus station and the adjacent train station.
  • Local services: Regional rental company options exist on Avenida de Alfonso Molina and the Cuatro Caminos commercial area.

Mobility Tip: If you plan to rent a car to visit the Tower of Hercules or the surroundings, we recommend arranging the reservation with pickup at the San Cristóbal train station due to its larger fleet offer.
