Buses with connection to Geneva Airport

Public transport connections

Albacete Bus Station is a central hub for transport in the southeast of the peninsula. Located adjacent to the railway terminal, it forms an intermodal complex that connects the city with the Levante, the Meseta, and Andalusia, allowing quick access to the city center as well as the University Campus and industrial areas.

Urban bus and mobility

Albacete Urban Buses (Subús)

The terminal is perfectly integrated into the local transport network, with stops located at the station itself and on Avenida de la Estación:

  • Lines A and B: Connect the station directly with the city center (Plaza del Altozano) and the main residential neighborhoods.
  • Line C: Service linking the terminal with the University Campus and the General Hospital.
  • Line D: Facilitates access to the commercial area and the Campollano Business Park.

Railway Connection (AVE and Long Distance):

The bus station is located right next to Albacete-Los Llanos Station. This proximity allows immediate transfers to High-Speed trains (AVE) connecting with Madrid, Valencia, Alicante, and Cuenca.

Recommended App: We advise using the Albacete Autobús app to check arrival times in real time and plan your journeys around the city.

Airport connection

Albacete has its own airport and efficient connections with international airports in the Levante:

  • Albacete Airport (ABC): Located a few kilometers away, accessible mainly by taxi or specific private transport services.
  • Alicante-Elche Airport (ALC): Thanks to Alsa services, there is a smooth road connection linking Albacete with one of the main air terminals in the Mediterranean.
  • Taxi: The station has a permanent official taxi rank operating 24 hours a day right at the main entrance.

Car rental

Albacete is the gateway to the Sierra de Alcaraz and Segura, so the offer of private mobility is wide and accessible from the intermodal terminal itself.

Available companies

  • Inside the Los Llanos complex: You will find desks of international agencies such as Avis, Europcar, Hertz, and Enterprise.
  • Station surroundings: Various local offices and van rental services operate in the vicinity of Avenida de la Estación.

Mobility tip: If you plan to visit the Source of the Mundo River or the villages of the Sierra, renting a car at the intermodal station is the most flexible option due to its direct access to the A-31 and A-30 highways.
