Buses and routes from
the Burgos Station

Public transport connections

Burgos Bus Station is a major communication hub in northern Spain. Located right in the city center, just a few meters from the Cathedral and the Museum of Human Evolution, it offers exceptional connectivity with both the urban transport network and the main points of tourist and logistical interest.

Urban bus and mobility

Burgos Urban Buses (SAMYT)

Being in a central area, the station is surrounded by strategic stops that connect with the entire city:

  • Lines on Calle Madrid and Calle Miranda: Various lines connect the terminal with the Burgos University Hospital (HUBU), the University of Burgos (UBU), and peripheral neighborhoods such as Gamonal.
  • Direct Connection: Most urban lines with stops at "Plaza de España" or "Calle Vitoria" are less than a 5-minute walk away.

Railway Connection:

The connection with Burgos Rosa Manzano Train Station (High Speed and Long Distance) is easily made by urban bus (Express line) or taxi, with a journey of approximately 10-15 minutes.

Recommended App: We advise using the official Burgos al Móvil application to check arrival times, line maps, and urban transport service alerts in real time.

Connection to the airport

Although Burgos Airport (RGS) has mainly seasonal or charter flight traffic, the connection from the station is direct:

  • Taxi: It is the most common and fastest option. The official rank is located right at the main entrance of the station (Calle Miranda). The journey takes about 15 minutes.
  • Urban Bus: Special services connect the center with the airport on flight operation days.

Car rental

Burgos is an ideal starting point for exploring the Route of El Cid or the Ribera del Duero region, so car rental services are accessible from the terminal.

Available companies

  • Station surroundings: You will find Avis offices and local agencies in the streets adjacent to the bus station.
  • Rosa Manzano Station: Major international companies (Hertz, Europcar, Enterprise) concentrate their offices at the train station, easily accessible from the center.

Mobility Tip: If you are doing the Camino de Santiago and need a support vehicle, we recommend booking a pick-up at points near Calle Madrid to facilitate the exit towards the highway.
