Buses with connection to Geneva Airport

Public transport connections

Castellón de la Plana Bus Station is located in a strategic enclave, forming part of the city's intermodal terminal. Its design allows an immediate connection with the railway network and urban transport, facilitating access to the historic center, the Jaume I University and the maritime district of Grao.

TRAM and urban bus

Castellón TRAM

The station has a stop for the TRAM (Transporte Metropolitano de la Plana), the rapid transit trolleybus system that crosses the city efficiently:

  • Line T1: Direct connection between the Jaume I University (UJI), the city center and the Grao of Castellón.

Urban and Interurban Bus:

Multiple urban and interurban lines stop at the station's interchange:

  • Lines L1, L9 and L16: Facilitate access to the city's main residential neighborhoods and commercial areas.
  • Metropolitan Buses: Lines connecting with nearby towns such as Vila-real, Almassora, Benicàssim and Burriana.

Recommended App: We advise using the app Castelló en Moviment to check arrival times in real time and plan your journeys through the metropolitan area.

Airport connection

Castellón has its own airport and fast connections with the regional airport of Valencia:

  • Castellón Airport (CDT): Located in Vilanova d'Alcolea. There are shuttle bus services connecting the intermodal station with the airport, coordinated with flight schedules.
  • Valencia Airport (VLC): Can be easily accessed via the commuter train (C-6) to Valencia-Nord and connection with the Metro, or via direct bus services.
  • Taxi: The station has a permanent official taxi rank right at the exit of the main lobby.

Car rental

As an intermodal terminal, Castellón offers a compact and accessible car rental offer to explore the Costa del Azahar or the interior of the province.

Available companies

  • Inside the intermodal terminal: You will find desks for agencies such as Avis, Europcar and Enterprise on the first floor of the complex.
  • Station surroundings: Various local offices operate in the commercial area located in front of the train station.

Mobility tip: If your destination is the Desert de les Palmes or inland villages like Morella, renting a vehicle at the station itself is the most recommended option due to its speed of exit towards the N-340 and the CV-10.
