Buses and routes from Malaga Station

Public transport connections

Malaga Bus Station is a strategic mobility hub. Thanks to its location adjacent to the Málaga-María Zambrano train station, it offers total integration with the metropolitan system, allowing fast and efficient travel throughout the Costa del Sol.

  • Line 19: Links the station with the Technology Park (PTA) and the Campanillas area.
  • Lines 20 and Express : Facilitate quick access to the northern and eastern neighborhoods of the city.

Recommended App: To optimize your journeys, we suggest downloading the official EMT Málaga App or the Transport Consortium app, ideal for checking real-time arrival times and managing transport card reloads.

Connection with the airport

Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) is one of the best connected in Spain from the city center:

  • Line A Express (Airport Bus): Direct EMT service with a stop outside the station (Héroe de Sostoa). Frequency: Every 20-30 minutes. Estimated time: 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

Car rental

If you are looking for maximum independence to explore the province, you have an unbeatable offer just a few meters away. Although the offices are not inside the bus platforms, they are located in the Vialia Shopping Center (Train Station), connected internally.

  • Companies available at María Zambrano Station (AVE): Sixt, Europcar, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and OK Mobility.
  • Companies at Malaga Airport: You will find a massive hub with companies like Record Go, Centauro, Goldcar, and the main multinationals.
