Public transport connections
Oviedo Bus Station is the central hub for transport in Asturias. Its strategic location, connected via a pedestrian walkway to Uría train station (Renfe/Long Distance and Cercanías), allows for an agile transfer to move throughout the region and the rest of Spain.
Train and urban bus
Cercanías Asturias and Renfe
Through the connection tunnel or the walkway over the tracks, you can directly access Oviedo Train Station:
- Cercanías (Lines C-1, C-2, C-3): Direct connection to Gijón, Avilés, Pola de Lena, and the main centers of the mining basin.
- AVE and Long Distance: High-speed connections to Madrid and Alvia trains to León, Valladolid, and the rest of the peninsula.
Urban Bus (TUA):
Oviedo has an urban bus network with immediate stops on Calle Pepe Cosmen and near Calle Uría:
- Line C: Facilitates access to the center and the commercial and residential areas of the south of the city.
- Lines F and H: Connect the station to the Central University Hospital of Asturias (HUCA).
- Lines L and O : Link the terminal with the outlying neighborhoods and the historic center.

Connection with the airport
Asturias Airport (OVD) is located in Santiago del Monte, about 45 km away, and the bus station is its main liaison point:
- Airport Service (Alsa): Direct and regular service departing from the platforms of the Oviedo station itself. Frequency: Every hour (with reinforcements at peak times). Estimated time: 45 minutes.
- Taxi: Official rank outside the terminal (Entrance floor). The journey has a regulated intercity rate for the transfer to the airport.
Car rental
Car rental options are concentrated both in the bus station itself and in the adjacent train station, making pickup easy for any traveler.

- In the Train Station (Uría): Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, and Enterprise counters, located less than 5 minutes walk across the connection walkway.
Mobility Tip: If you are visiting the Asturian Pre-Romanesque monuments (Monte Naranco), you can take urban bus line A from near the station.
