Stations
Faro station is the main headquarters of Vamus Algarve and the transport hub for southern Portugal, notable for its prime location in the city center and excellent intermodality.
- Location: Av. da RepĂşblica 5, 8000-078, Faro, Portugal.
- Railway intermodality (CP): Located just 200 meters from the train station, with Alfa Pendular and Intercidades connections to Lisbon and the entire Algarve regional line.
- Airport connection: Direct access to Faro Airport via line 16 of the urban bus service (PrĂłximo).
- Regional bus (Vamus Algarve): Express services to Albufeira, PortimĂŁo, and Lagos (Line 57 - TransrĂĄpido) and connections to OlhĂŁo and Tavira (Line 67).
- Urban transport (PrĂłximo): Comprehensive city coverage through an extensive network of lines (1 to 10, 14, 15, and 17).
- Long distance and international: Frequent routes to Lisbon with Rede Expressos and international ALSA/Damas services to Seville.
This is the main gateway to the south of the country. Although it does not have a direct train station, it is very well connected to the city by road.

- Public transport connections:
- Urban bus (PrĂłximo - Line 16): This is the key line. It connects the Airport with the Bus Terminal (Eva) and Faro city center approximately every 30-50 minutes.
- Regional bus (Vamus Algarve):
- Aerobus (Line 56): A fast service connecting the airport directly with Albufeira, Lagoa, PortimĂŁo, and Lagos (available mainly during high season).
- Line 66: Direct connection to the city of OlhĂŁo.
- Train: There is no station at the airport. You must take bus Line 16 to the Faro city center train station (approx. 20 minutes).
