Your support person travels for free

Alsa wants to support people with intellectual disabilities.

If you are a person with an intellectual or developmental disability, with a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%, you will be able to travel with your support person on the same bus with some benefits.

Your support person will be able to travel for free with you and you will have a 15 percent discount on your ticket.

This discount is valid for all routes carried out by Alsa between different provinces and for some regional services in Spain.

For example, when a ticket costs 20 euros, you will only pay 17 euros and your companion will travel for free.

How can you request the discount?
 

In order to enjoy this benefit, you have to register.

Registering means that you have to give your data to a company or website; in this case, the company is Alsa.

You can sign up by filling out the following form.

In the form you have to attach the Certificate of Disability. The Disability Card is not valid, only the Certificate of Disability is valid.

Alsa will review and validate the documentation you have sent with Plena Inclusión Madrid and will answer you in about 10 days.

Your registration in this service lasts 5 years. After that time, you can renew your discharge for another 5 years.

How can you buy tickets with this discount?
 

Call +34 91 020 7007 (in Spanish) say that you are a beneficiary of the "free support person" discount and give your ID.

If you cancel your ticket, you have to cancel that of your support person.
