MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE JURY OF THE XVII WHEELS-THEMED SHORT STORY COMPETITION

In Madrid, at 3:00 PM on June 28, 2017, the jury for the XVII edition of the literary contest "Tales on Wheels" is established.

In Madrid, at 3:00 PM on June 28, 2017, the jury of the XVII edition of the literary contest "Tales on Wheels" is constituted, convened by ALSA in order to promote literary creation related to the field of travel, and whose bases are deposited before a Notary.

The jury is formed by the following members: Mr. Víctor García de la Concha, president; Mr. Álvaro Ruiz de la Peña; Ms. Clara Sánchez; Mr. Luis Ignacio Parada; Mr. Diego Carcedo and Mr. Carlos Maribona, acting as secretary Mr. Pablo Gómara.

After proceeding to the deliberations and subsequent votes, the jury agrees to issue the following: 

VERDICT:

Tales on Wheels Award 2017: Mr. Eloy López Grandal, from Santiago de Compostela, for his story "At the end of the road”.           

The other four stories selected by the jury to be published together with the winner, have been those presented by:

  • Mr. Alberto Palacios Santos, from Salamanca, for "We loved Yolanda so much”.
  • Ms. Adelaida Rodríguez Agraso, from San Fernando (Cádiz), for "Never anyone”.
  • Ms. Gabriela María Herrero Santos, from Madrid, for "It started with a”.
  • Mr. Faustino Lara Ibáñez, from Toledo, for "Twelve square meters of illusion”.

And so that it is recorded, I sign this document in Madrid, on June 28, 2017.
