Agreement reached to suspend the strike at IRUBUS

San Lorenzo de El Escorial, December 19th. - Transportation company IRUBUS, S.A.U., which operates in the Western Sierra of Madrid, announces that it has reached an agreement with the workers' representatives to suspend the current strike call from tomorrow until January 7th inclusive.

This means that from Wednesday, December 20, all services operated by the company on the different lines are back to operating normally and on their usual schedules.

Both parties resume negotiations this same December 20 on the basis of a new climate of dialogue, which the company hopes can conclude with the definitive calling off of the strike from January 7.

The management of IRUBUS wants to reiterate its apologies to the travelers of the Sierra Oeste of Madrid for all the inconveniences that this strike has caused them, despite the efforts made by the company, both in the negotiations and in operating the minimum services normally in very difficult conditions, and thank them for their patience and understanding.
