Alsa enhances onboard entertainment with audiobooks and podcasts in partnership with Audible, an Amazon company.

• Available this month on Long Distance services.
• Passengers of the company will have free access to a wide range of Audible titles during their journey.

Madrid, January 7, 2021.- The mobility operator Alsa and Audible, Amazon's company specializing in audiobooks and podcasts, have signed an agreement to improve the onboard entertainment offer for the bus company's passengers, who from this month have free access during their trip to a wide selection of narrative, training, stories and travel guides in audiobook format.

In addition, travelers on Alsa's long-distance services will be able to download a free Audible title to listen to before and after the trip, simply by entering https://www.alsa.es/audible, and entering their ticket locator.

The audiobook is a novel format ideal for travel, as it avoids the transfer of the physical book. Through the individual entertainment screens with which the seats of long-distance buses are equipped, Alsa customers have 65 titles available from the Audible catalog, narrated by great voices from the national scene. Among them, its catalog of novels and fiction, personal development and self-help, original podcasts and exclusive content narrated by writers, journalists and actors stands out.

WORLD LEADER

Audible, Amazon's company specializing in audiobooks, is one of the world's largest creators and distributors of digital audio entertainment content and offers a wide variety of audiobooks, podcasts and other audio formats, including a selection of high-quality Audible Originals. It is based in Berlin, from where it serves listeners in Germany, France, Italy and, now, also in Spain. More than 1,000 actors and narrators in the European Union have already performed for Audible Studios, to which new voices will be added now that it also produces content for its Spanish listeners.

According to the satisfaction surveys that Alsa periodically conducts among its customers, having a wide range of onboard entertainment options is one of the key and most valued factors for obtaining a satisfactory travel experience. In this sense, this agreement between Alsa and Audible represents a qualitative and quantitative improvement of the current entertainment offer and, ultimately, of the travel experience of the company's passengers.
