ALSA recognized for its commitment to employing people with disabilities

The award was collected by the CEO of ALSA, Francisco Iglesias, in an event presided over by the Secretary of State for Social Affairs and Equality, Mario Garcés.
The Randstad Foundation Awards recognize the work of companies, institutions and media that facilitate the labor integration of people with different abilities and at risk of social exclusion, highlighting those projects and people that facilitate the personal and professional development of these groups.
The jury has recognized the innovative nature of the project "¿De qué eres capaz?" (What are you capable of?), as an example of ALSA's degree of involvement in the integration of people with functional diversity in the workplace.
WHAT ARE YOU CAPABLE OF?
Under this title, the company has designed a personalized training and insertion itinerary to become a bus driver, thanks to which since 2007 it has taught 28 courses and 10,000 hours of training, benefiting 350 people with disabilities, who can face the future with the employability that the market demands.
For ALSA, this recognition values the effort that it has been developing for years in favor of the labor integration of people with different abilities, and is an incentive to continue working to promote the employability of this group, as the best way to achieve their full social integration.
In addition to ALSA, the other winners in this XIII edition of the Randstad Foundation awards in its different categories have been: Specialisterne (SME), Fundación Mapfre (Institution), Discapnet (Communication) and the sports and Paralympic journalist Javier Hernández (Honorable Mention).
