The mobility operator ALSA has received the Safe Tourism Certified seal from the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE), which guarantees compliance with the highest hygienic-sanitary guarantees in the provision of its passenger transport services, with the aim of making the bus a safe space to travel and regain the confidence of customers and tourists when making their trips by bus.

Safe Tourism Certified is a guarantee and certification mark that accredits compliance with Technical Specification UNE 0066-17, which establishes the guidelines and recommendations for reducing contagion by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in the tourism sector related to the road mobility sector.

The seal is obtained after passing an audit carried out by independent companies. This Technical Specification, like 20 others related to the tourism sector, are created from the protocols developed by the ICTE in coordination with the Secretary of State for Tourism, the sector's employers' associations, unions and associations for the prevention of occupational hazards under the mandate of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and validated by the Ministry of Health.

The company ALSA registers the ICTE's Safe Tourism Certified seal in its Safe Mobility program, designed and implemented by the operator to offer maximum hygienic-sanitary safety to travelers before, during and after their trip and thus mitigate the risks derived from Covid-19, which represents an additional guarantee for customers and employees.
