The Botín Foundation signs an agreement with Alsa to promote the Botín Centre and encourage the use of public transport.

In this sense, the Botín Foundation and ALSA have today signed a collaboration agreement with the joint objective of "promoting the Botín Center and encouraging the use of public road transport for travelers".
This agreement will initially benefit tourists on the Bilbao-Santander and Madrid-Santander routes, integrated into various regular ALSA lines, and will later be extended to other provinces, thus favoring the travel of tourists to Santander by public transport.
Bus + Ticket Packages
To this end, tickets to the Botín Center can be purchased at the various points of sale that the company has throughout Spain, for which an exclusive package of bus ticket plus entrance to the Center will be made available to travelers. In addition, special ALSA promotional codes will be created for visitors to the Botín Center to purchase bus tickets with advantageous conditions on the website www.alsa.es.
These actions will be promoted in the sales channels of each entity, as well as in social networks, raffling both tickets to the Botín Center and ALSA tickets for customers who decide to join the ALSAPLUS+ Program.
Víctor Manuel López, general manager of ALSA's Transportation Division, said that he is delighted to be able to collaborate with the Botín Foundation in promoting the Center, and in making it easier to travel by public transport to Santander and Cantabria so that more people can get to know its tourist and cultural attractions. For his part, Íñigo Sáenz de Miera, general manager of the Botín Foundation, has expressed his satisfaction at being able to count on ALSA, the leading road passenger transport company in Spain, as one of the institutions and companies that participate in the Botín Center and support its artistic project. Thus, from today ALSA joins the list that already includes the Ramón Areces Foundation, Viesgo, the Mutua Madrileña Foundation, the "La Caixa" Banking Foundation, the Prosegur Foundation and Orange, as strategic partners, and Vocento, Diario Montañés, JC Decaux, Unidad editorial, Prisa and Iberia, as collaborating institutions.
Botín Foundation
The Marcelino Botín Foundation was created in 1964 by Marcelino Botín Sanz de Sautuola and his wife, Carmen Yllera, to promote the social development of Cantabria. Today, fifty years later, the Botín Foundation contributes to the integral development of society by exploring new ways of detecting creative talent and betting on it to generate cultural, social and economic wealth. It operates in the fields of art and culture, education, science and rural development, and supports social institutions in Cantabria to reach those who need it most. The Botín Foundation operates mainly in Spain and especially in Cantabria, but also in Latin America. www.fundacionbotin.org
