ALSA buses to promote the image of Castilla-La Mancha

The General Director of Tourism, Commerce, and Crafts, Ana Isabel Fernández Samper, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Director of the Transportation Division of ALSA, Víctor López Menéndez, which will allow 19 buses to travel the country's roads showcasing the region's diverse heritage and tourist attractions. These buses will essentially act as mobile billboards promoting tourism in the region.

The regional government has signed an agreement to promote the image of Castilla-La Mancha with the bus company ALSA, whose vehicles will display images of different characteristic enclaves of each of the region's provinces for the next five months, as one of the measures included in the Strategic Regional Tourism Plan.

The General Director of Tourism, Commerce and Crafts, Ana Isabel Fernández Samper, has signed an agreement with Víctor López Menéndez, director of the transport division of ALSA, which will allow 19 buses covering the routes of the Basque Country and Cantabria (Bilbao-Santander), Levante (Murcia and Alicante), Catalonia (Barcelona) and Andalusia (Granada) to spread the image of natural spaces in Albacete and Guadalajara, such as the Natural Parks of the Río Mundo and Alto Tajo; heritage, urban tourism and inland getaways in Cuenca; the gastronomy and monumental wealth of Toledo or the image of Cervantes, Quixote or windmills, linked to Ciudad Real.

For Fernandez-Samper "the fact that this campaign coincides with the months of greatest traffic movement on Spanish roads will give great visibility to all our tourist and heritage resources: it is a good way for travelers and drivers to note us on their list of upcoming pending destinations."

In addition to the physical presence of buses on Spanish roads, there will be online promotion of the different spaces of Castilla-La Mancha, as well as the projection of videos on the screens of the entertainment channel for travelers about the possibilities offered by the region for experiential tourism.
