Buses and routes from
the Guadalajara Station

Public transport connections

Guadalajara Bus Station is the main mobility hub for the province. Recently renovated, it is strategically located to connect the historic center with the main exit roads toward Madrid and the rest of Castilla-La Mancha, offering full intermodality with urban and intercity transport.

Urban bus and commuter train

Guadalajara Urban Buses (GuadaBus)

The station has urban network stops at its main entrances (Calle Dos de Mayo and Avenida del Ejército), facilitating travel throughout the city:

  • Lines C1 and C2: Circular lines connecting the station with peripheral neighborhoods and key Guadalajara landmarks.
  • Line L4: Direct connection to the General University Hospital and the shopping center.

Railway Connection (Cercanías Renfe):

The connection to Guadalajara Train Station (Madrid Commuter Lines C-2 and C-8) is made via urban bus lines L4 and L5, or by a short taxi ride of about 5-7 minutes, linking the bus terminal with the railway network toward Madrid-Atocha and Chamartín.

Recommended App: We suggest downloading the GuadaBus app to check schedules, routes, and arrival times for urban buses in real-time.

Connection with Madrid (Avenida de América)

One of the busiest routes is the connection to the capital, which features a high-frequency infrastructure:

  • Direct Service (VAC-243): Direct buses to the Avenida de América Hub in Madrid, with an approximate duration of 45-50 minutes via the A-2.
  • Taxi: There is an official rank in front of the terminal entrance for quick travel to the Guadalajara-Yebes AVE (High-Speed) station (located about 15 minutes from the city).

Car rental

For those wishing to explore the Black Villages of Guadalajara or the Alcarria region, private mobility options are accessible from the terminal.

Available companies

  • Station surroundings: Various local and national car rental agencies operate near Avenida del Ejército and Calle Dos de Mayo.
  • Nearby points: Due to the proximity to Madrid, many reservations are managed with pick-up at strategic city points that facilitate access to the A-2 highway.

Mobility Tip: If you need a rental car to head to the Guadalajara-Yebes AVE station, make sure to confirm if the agency has a drop-off office at that railway terminal.
