General Terms and Conditions of the Single Pass

Purchasing the Single Pass

  • This pass does NOT allow changes or cancellations.
  • There are two types of Single Pass:
    • Standard Single Pass, priced at €60 for 30 days.
    • Youth and Children's Single Pass, priced at €30 for 30 days, for travelers born between January 1, 2000, and December 31, 2026.
  • If you are a young person, you must present a registration code to purchase the Youth and Children's Single Pass. To obtain it, you must register on the Ministry of Transport website at least 24 hours before purchase.
  • Can be combined with large family discounts.
  • Purchase does not generate points and cannot be paid with Alsa Plus points.
  • Validity: 30 days from the start date (you must select the start date at the time of purchase). You cannot have two active passes simultaneously, but you can have a maximum of two advance-purchase passes.
    Example: purchased on January 14 with a start date of January 14 + 30 days. On January 15, you could purchase another with a start date of February 14.
  • When purchasing the pass, a security code linked to your ID will be generated, which must be entered for use. If you have already acquired your Single Pass from another transport operator, you can use it to travel with Alsa without needing to make a new purchase.

Ticket Redemption with Single Pass

  • You can redeem your Single Pass at alsa.es, the app, self-service machines, and points of sale, but not directly on the bus.
  • Valid for travel on state-owned bus lines and Renfe Cercanías and Media Distancia services. For buses, it applies to routes connecting towns in different autonomous communities (state bus lines). You can also get the discount on selected schedules for routes within the same Autonomous Community. In the Alsa booking process, these services are marked with a white star on a green background at the top right of each service.
  • Ticket changes and cancellations can be made without penalty at least 24 hours before the start of the journey.
  • Also available for travel in Supra class; you only need to pay the difference (can be paid with Alsa Plus points).
  • Alsa will request the PIN code (generated during purchase) from the traveler when issuing tickets and verify their identity when boarding the bus.

Correct Use of the Single Pass / Penalties

  • The Single Pass code is personal and non-transferable. You must respect the conditions established by the Ministry to avoid its withdrawal. Improper use includes:
    • Use or attempted use of a Single Pass by someone other than the holder.
    • Booking and not traveling or not cancelling the reservation within the minimum notice:
      • Buses: cancel 24h in advance.
      • Media Distancia/Avant: cancel 60 minutes in advance.
  • Blocking of the Single Pass will occur for:
    • Use by a different traveler.
    • Not cancelling at least 24 hours in advance and failing to complete the journey on at least 3 occasions.
    • Detection of misuse on more than twenty occasions in the last 12 months.

General Terms and Conditions for "Comparte" (Shared) Passes

Conditions for 2026 Passes

  • The "Comparte" pass is a 10-journey voucher with a 40% discount or more on the Super Flex fare between a single origin and destination (both directions) between autonomous communities (state bus lines).
  • It is NOT nominative and you can share it with anyone you want. Even to travel together on the same bus. This pass allows cancellation as long as you have not started using it.
  • This pass does NOT require prior registration on the ministry's website. Travelers must have a DNI or NIE to use the "Comparte" Pass.
  • Valid for 10 journeys. Available for Comfort services. Now you can also redeem your vouchers for Supra services by paying the difference!
  • Sale through Alsa web and app.
  • Validity: as of January 26, 2026, from the date selected during the purchase process. The "Comparte" Pass expires 365 days after the date of the first journey.
  • The first journey must be made in 2026 to activate the pass.
  • The overall period of the measure starts on 12/30/2025 and can be purchased until 12/31/2026. Travel is permitted starting 01/01/2026.
  • 2025 passes have an expiry of 365 days from first use, with a final consumption deadline of 12/30/2026.

Conditions for tickets

  • Tickets issued with a pass can be changed and cancelled with a minimum of 24 hours' notice.
  • Pass redemption will be permitted exclusively on services operated under the administrative concession of the purchased pass. In the purchase process, these services are marked with a white star on a green background in the upper right corner of each service.
  • Improper use: The ministry will be notified of any improper use of the pass. The accumulation of more than 6 instances of improper use will lead to the revocation of the pass. Additionally, the holder will not be able to request any other discounted pass on any route until this measure expires.
  • Improper use is considered:
    • Booking and not traveling (without cancelling 24 hours in advance).
    • In the case of a pass issued for a large family, the use or attempted use of a ticket by a person other than the beneficiaries of the large family title.

General Conditions of the Monthly Pass

Conditions for the Monthly Pass

  • The Monthly Pass is an unlimited-trip pass with a 50% discount for traveling between the same origin-destination, between autonomous communities (national bus lines) for one month.
  • The pass is personal, registered, and non-transferable.
  • This pass DOES NOT require a prior registration code on the ministry's website. Valid for anyone with a valid DNI or NIE.
  • You can cancel it as long as you have not started using it.
  • Available for Comfort services. Now you can also redeem your passes on Supra services by paying the difference!
  • Sold via the Alsa website and app.
  • Validity: as of January 26, 2026, 30 days from the date selected during the purchase process, regardless of whether this ticket is cancelled or not. Valid for a single origin and destination (both directions), for an unlimited number of trips to be made within the 30-day period from the date of the first trip.
  • The first trip must be taken in 2025 to activate the pass. The overall period of the measure (validity of these passes) begins on 01/07/2025.
  • Only the large family discount can be applied to the purchase price. Remember that its use is restricted to the holder, and both the pass and the tickets will be identified as such.

  • The Youth Monthly Pass is an unlimited-trip pass with a 70% discount, exclusively for young people, for traveling between the same origin-destination, between autonomous communities (national bus lines) for one month.
  • Valid for young people (born between 1999 and 2010, inclusive) with a valid DNI or NIE. It is essential to obtain and use the AJ25 code from the Ministry of Transport.
  • The pass is personal, registered, and non-transferable.
  • Sold via the Alsa website and app.
  • Only the large family discount can be applied to the purchase price. Remember that its use is restricted to the holder, and both the pass and the tickets will be identified as such.
  • You can cancel it as long as you have not started using it.
  • Available for Comfort services. Now you can also redeem your passes on Supra services by paying the difference!
  • Validity: as of January 26, 2026, 30 days from the date selected during the purchase process, regardless of whether this ticket is cancelled or not. Conditions for the Free Child Pass

  • The Free Child Pass is an unlimited-trip pass with a 100% discount, exclusively for children aged 0 to 14, for traveling between the same origin-destination, between autonomous communities (national bus lines) from July 1 to December 31, 2025.
  • Valid for children (born between 2011 and 2025, inclusive) with a valid DNI or NIE. It is essential to obtain and use the AN25 code from the Ministry of Transport.
  • The pass is personal, registered, and non-transferable.
  • You can cancel it as long as you have not started using it.
  • Available for Comfort services. Now you can also redeem your passes on Supra services by paying the difference!
  • Sold via the Alsa website and app.
  • Validity: From the travel date of the first purchase made. Valid for a single origin and destination (both directions), for an unlimited number of trips to be made in 2025.
  • The overall travel period for this measure is from 01/07/2025 to 31/12/2025.

  • Tickets issued with a pass can be changed and cancelled with a minimum of 24 hours' notice.
  • More than one round trip per day is only possible if one of them has been previously cancelled.

Conditions for the Regional Pass

  • The Regional Pass is a travel pass with a 40% discount for traveling between the same origin-destination within a region.
  • Passes are available for hundreds of destinations in Andalusia, the Valencian Community, Cantabria, and Navarre, starting from just 3 trips. Only available on routes operated by Alsa (The passes offered under these new discounts are the same ones that existed before September 1, 2022; they are not newly created).
  • The pass is registered, personal, and non-transferable.
  • You can cancel it as long as you have not started using it.
  • Sold via the website, app, and self-service ticket machines.
  • Validity: From the date of the first ticket purchase.
  • Passes available for Comfort services on selected round trips by Alsa. Now you can also redeem your passes on Supra services by paying the difference!
  • Can only be combined with the large family discount, provided the pass does not have a discount higher than usual for passes. In this case, no additional large family discount can be applied.

Conditions for tickets

  • Tickets issued with a pass can be changed and cancelled, except for the regional passes for Cantabria.
  • Each trip is equivalent to a single one-way journey.
  • It cannot be used more than once on the same day for the same origin and destination.
