The conditions for making changes or cancellations to tickets are governed, without exception, by the official Spanish time (Peninsular time) CET/CEST.
Ticket Management
Tickets purchased through the website and the Alsa app can be changed through their respective Ticket Management and My Trips sections. Tickets purchased through the information and sales service can be changed via the traveler assistance phone number 91 020 7007 (local call without special charges), and through other channels. In all these cases, provided that the tickets have not been printed at a point of sale.
Change Policy
For national and international tickets
Changing the date or time of the ticket is only possible if requested at least 2 hours before the start of the journey and is subject to the availability of seats on the new date or time requested.
IMPORTANT: for date changes on round-trip tickets, the outward date can never be later than the return date.
Tariff changes must be made according to the current conditions and always choosing fares of equal or greater value. The discount from special promotions with defined sales dates will not be maintained once their validity has ended.
National tickets
If the time change is to a ticket with a higher fare, the price difference between the two fares must be paid. The surcharge for ticket changes varies depending on when it is requested and the type of customer:

International tickets
The surcharge for ticket changes varies depending on the notice period:

Tour packages
Changes to purchased tour packages are not permitted. If a change is needed, the purchase must be canceled and a new purchase process must be initiated.
Cancellation Policy
For national and international tickets
Ticket cancellation is only possible if requested at least 2 hours before the start of the journey.
In the case of round-trip ticket cancellation, it is necessary to cancel the return before canceling the outward journey.
The traveler's no-show at the place and time of departure results in the loss of the trip and does not entitle them to a ticket change or refund of its amount.
Tickets purchased with a bank card can only be canceled back to the card used for the purchase.
National tickets

Tour packages
Cancellation of tour packages is only possible if requested at
least 24 hours before the start of the service.
National tickets purchased before 04/01/2025
Ticket changes are free of charge if the change is requested at least 8 days in advance. If requested between 7 days and 48 hours before the time of travel, the surcharge will be 5%. An additional surcharge of 10% is applied if the change is requested between 48 and 24 hours in advance, and 20% in the 24-2h interval. No ticket change surcharges will be applied to Alsa Plus customers.
The cancellation fee is free when done at least 8 days in advance. If done between 7 days and 48 hours before the travel date, the surcharge will be 10%. If the cancellation is requested between 48 and 24 hours in advance, the company will refund the ticket amount deducting 20%. And if requested with less than 24 hours and up to 2 hours before departure, the surcharge will be 30%. No cancellation surcharges will be applied to Alsa Plus customers.
