General Terms and Conditions
If you are between 18 and 30 years old, get ready to enjoy a 90% discount on your trips between different Autonomous Communities (state bus lines), thanks to the Verano Joven 2026 campaign by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility.
Travel this summer for less than 4 euros on 80% of our routes.
Who can benefit?
- Young people born between January 1, 1996, and December 31, 2008, both inclusive.
- With Spanish nationality or legal residence in Spain.
- Who register in advance on the ministry's official Young Summer website.
When can you travel?
From July 1 to September 30, 2026.
How to travel with a discount:
- Register on the ministry's website.
- After registering, you will receive your code in less than 24 hours.
- Enter this code on our website or app.
- You will see the price of your trip with the discount already included.
If you need to travel with your baby, please write to us through our contact section.
If you want more advantages, register for free as an Alsa Plus member.
- Available on the website, app, self-service ticket machines, and points of sale, but not directly on the bus. Also available if you want to travel in Supra class, you just have to pay the difference.
- Applies exclusively to routes connecting locations that are in different autonomous communities (national bus lines).
- You can also obtain the discount on selected schedules for journeys that take place within the same Autonomous Community.
- Remember: you must be previously registered on the ministry's Verano Joven campaign website.
- The code is personal and non-transferable, and you must comply with the conditions of use established by the ministry to avoid its withdrawal.
- If you have accumulated more than 6 improper uses of your Verano Joven discount code, whether in rail or road transport, the ministry may withdraw your code, which will imply the impossibility of using it and the inability to register again and benefit from this youth discount.
- For the same origin-destination, it is not permitted to book more than one round trip per day, unless you have previously completed or canceled the trip.
- You cannot have more than 6 active bookings.
- Ticket changes and cancellations can be made at least 2 hours in advance of the start of the trip for journeys under 125km and at least 24 hours in advance of the start of the trip for journeys over 125km.
- The cancellation fee is free when done at least 8 days in advance. If done between 7 days and 48 hours prior to the travel date, the surcharge will be 20% for non-Alsa Plus customers and free for Alsa Plus customers. If the cancellation is requested between 48 and 24 hours in advance, the company will refund the ticket amount deducting 30% for non-Alsa Plus customers and 15% for Alsa Plus customers. And if requested less than 24 hours and up to 2 hours before departure, the surcharge will be 50% for non-Alsa Plus customers and 30% for Alsa Plus customers. For Alsa Plus customers, cancellations will be free if requested 48 hours in advance.
- Alsa will request this registration code from the passenger when issuing the tickets and verify their identity when boarding the bus. The code can be checked at any time on the ministry's Verano Joven website.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- The route is not operated by Alsa: make sure that the origin-destination you are looking for is a route operated by Alsa and not another bus company. If you are redirected from www.alsa.com to the Movelia website, it is to show you which company operates the trip you are looking for, as you will need to buy the Young Summer ticket from them.
- It is a combined route: it is also possible that the route you are looking for is a combined trip, and that is why you cannot apply the discount. We recommend that you try to buy them separately, as it may be because one of the combined sections is within the same Autonomous Community and therefore does not apply, but it would apply to the other part of the route. For example: on the San Sebastián-Barcelona route, it does not apply to the San Sebastián-Bilbao section but it would apply to the Bilbao-Barcelona section; another example would be Logroño-Benidorm, where Logroño-Madrid arrives at Avenida de América and Madrid-Benidorm departs from Estación Sur, and buying them separately would apply to both.
- It is not a state bus line: some routes such as Soria-Pamplona, even though they connect two towns in different autonomous communities, are not state lines but belong to a regional concession, in this specific case the NAV-001 of the Intercity Transport of Navarra (NBus).
If the discount does not apply to another route that is operated by Alsa, please write to us via our contact form .
No, the Young Summer discount does not apply to international routes (e.g., Spain-Portugal or Spain-Francia).
No, the Young Summer discount applies to routes between places located in different autonomous communities (e.g., it does not apply to a Sevilla-Málaga, an Alicante-Benidorm, or a Valladolid-León route).
Yes, we recommend buying your ticket with the Young Summer discount first, and then you must contact us to include the baby/child ticket associated with you. Write to us at least 24 hours prior to your trip and we will help you.
If you are using your Young Summer code correctly and you see that there are schedules where less than a 90% discount applies, it is because the bus you are looking at is Supra class. The 90% is applied to the base fare of the selected route and not to the surcharges for being a premium class service, such as Supra.
