Safety for our clients, employees, and the public
At ALSA we work to improve the safety of our operations, and to do this we put a lot of effort into training, establishing Global Safety Standards, and disseminating said rules.
Additionally, our employees are aware that their actions determine the level of safety we offer.
- We make sure that our employees are competent and trained professionals.
- As such, they receive ongoing training.
- ALSA has an OHSAS certified Risk Prevention System.
- We also execute the “For your health” program which includes actions to inform and advise on healthy lifestyles.
- We care about our fleet, and employ technological innovations such as:
- A lane departure detector (SPA)
- Control of the distance between vehicles (ART)
- Advanced braking systems (ABS)
- We strive to continuously innovate, while always ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
- We also design and implement maintenance plans approved by manufacturers.
- Our objective is clear: reducing traffic accidents by up to 50% in 2016.
- We have cooperation agreements with various organizations such as the Spanish Foundation for Traffic Safety.
"Risk Elimination" Program
Our goal is to improve the safety of our organization by ensuring that our employees understand and meet the required levels of safety.
We want to spread the “Golden Rules” for safety which everyone should keep in mind in order to strengthen our activities.
