The Moncloa Transport Hub is the main gateway to northwestern Madrid. Located under Calle de la Princesa and Plaza de Moncloa, this strategic hub underground connects intercity bus services with the Madrid Metro network and urban buses (EMT).

The "Moncloa" station is integrated within the hub itself and is the terminus for two key lines of the network:
- Line 3 (Yellow): Direct connection to Plaza de España, Callao, Puerta del Sol, and Embajadores.
- Line 6 (Circular): Quickly links to Ciudad Universitaria, Cuatro Caminos, Nuevos Ministerios, and Méndez Álvaro Station.
Urban Bus (EMT):
Numerous lines operate outside and in specific bays, connecting with the center and west of the capital:
- Line G: Special service connecting Moncloa with the Ciudad Universitaria.
- Lines 160, 161, and 162: Connections to the districts of Aravaca and Pozuelo.
- Lines C1 and C2 : Circular lines that run along the main boulevards and rings.

Connection to the airport
To get to Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) from Moncloa, there are several efficient combinations:
- Metro (Line 6 + Line 8): Take the L6 to Nuevos Ministerios and transfer there to the L8, which reaches all terminals (T1-T2-T3 and T4).
- Airport Express Bus: This 24-hour service departs from the nearby Plaza de Cibeles (connected to Moncloa by buses 1, 2, 44, or 133).
- Taxi / VTC: There is an official taxi rank on the surface (Calle de la Princesa), with a travel time of about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.
Car rental
Being located in a university and commercial area, the Moncloa Hub has an extensive network of shared and private mobility.

- Nearby offices: In the Princesa and Plaza de España area, you will find Europcar, Avis, and Hertz offices.
- Carsharing: Operators such as Free2move, Share Now, and Zity have a constant presence in the parking perimeters of the area.
Mobility Tip: If you use carsharing, remember that Moncloa is within the low emission zone (Madrid Central), although parking for these vehicles is usually allowed in blue and green spaces.
