Alsa Rail - Railway Maintenance

Alsa Rail started out in the railway sector in 2003, offering maintenance support and commissioning services for the new high-speed railway lines (LAV), which are now managed by the Administrador de Infraestructuras Ferroviarias (ADIF).

Today, Alsa continues to apply its value, knowledge and experience to numerous maintenance contracts at different railway installations on the railway network, allowing them to operate smoothly.

Alsa is licensed by the State Railway Safety Agency (AESF) as a railway rolling stock maintenance centre under Order FOM/233/2006, authorising it to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on different types of vehicles. These include: high-speed vehicles, electric locomotives, diesel locomotives, auxiliary rolling stock and historical stock.

Finally, Alsa offers maintenance management, development and execution and fleet management services for any kind of railway vehicle circulating around the different networks in EU member states and is certified as an entity in charge of maintenance (ECM) under Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/779.
